Florida Judge Rules Obamacare Unconstitutional

The battle over government healthcare continued its journey towards the Supreme Court on Monday when a Florida Judge Ruled Obamacare is unconstitutional. "Never before has Congress required that everyone buy a product from a private company." Florida judge Roger Vinson wrote in a ruling where 26 states are fighting government healthcare in a lawsuit. "Because the individual mandate is unconstitutional and not severable, the entire Act must be declared void."

Yesterday was the second ruling against Obamacare. The first strike against government healthcare came in Virginia in December when a Virginia judge proclaimed Obamacare unconstitutional. This ruling will force the Supreme Court to eventually get involved in whether Congress can require individuals to buy health insurance or face a tax penalty or rule that government healthcare is unconstitutional. More than half the states in the US are now fighting against the government takeover of healthcare.

This ruling makes one wonder if Obamacare was taken to a vote, would our answer be Yay or Nay? The Republican controlled House of Representatives voted in January to repeal government healthcare and seek to force the Senate to vote on the matter. Only four Democrats voted to repeal Obamacare, while all Republicans voted to repeal government control of healthcare. This vote shows two sides of the picture; The Democrats want socialized medicine, while the Republicans believe in Healthcare reform, but not Obamacare.

The debate and fight about Obamacare will likely go on for quite some time until it reaches the Supreme Court. The Democrats believe their form of forcing Obamacare down the throats of American's is the best Healthcare reform. They believe controlling the people is the right way to go in this matter. President Obama and the Democrats see nothing wrong with their unconstitutional government healthcare. The Republicans believe in their own type of healthcare reform, but they need control of the Senate before they have their chance at healthcare reform.

Government healthcare is not the answer. Government healthcare is unconstitutional because it forces Americans to buy healthcare or face a tax penalty. The Virginia court said Obamacare is unconstitutional and the Florida court said Obamacare in unconstitutional. We the people, agree government healthcare is unconstitutional. It is time to repeal Obamacare. It is time to throw away that thick book called government healthcare in the trash along with a lit match and watch socialistic dreams burn into useless ashes.
