Florida festivals and special events during the month of April offer free and low-cost activities for both visitors and residents. Budget minded families could enjoy a day or weekend excursion without breaking the bank.

The Wakulla Wildlife Festival is held the first weekend of April in Wakulla Springs, Florida. Visitors can participate in outdoor pursuits such as kayaking, canoe tours, bay boat rides, and educational activities related to the native eco-system. For additional information, call 85-926-4293.
