Pocahontas has several places to purchase flowers, plants, and other holiday gift items. Two of the places listed are located on the other side of the bridge in East Pocahontas while the other two are located in Pocahontas itself.

Hours of operation: 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Carte Blanche, house account, and pay by phone. Your order needs to be placed the day before the order needs to be delivered.

Bloom and Bows is located at 1913 Highway 67 South. The phone number of the shop is 870-892-9991. Blooms and Bows has a dozen roses available for $45.00. Fresh flowers are $25.00. Sympathy/funeral flowers are $35.00. Green/house plants are $30.00. Balloon bouquets are $20.00. Fruit/Gourmet/Gift Baskets are $35.00. Blooms and Bows has candy/chocolate, gifts, greeting cards, home decor, silk/artificial flowers, and stuffed animals as well. Service is wonderful. A+. I have only been to Flowers-N-Cuts one time. I remember you can buy several different flower arrangements and have your hair done at the same shop. The service was good but not excellent as those in charge seemed more into hair than flowers. My visit was about ten years ago so some things could have changed of course. Flowers-N-Cuts is located at 2479 Thomasville. The phone number of the shop is 870-892-2258. It is a nice place but would be third on my list of places to go. Because it has been so long since my visit, I do not remember the prices. I do not know the hours of operation and unfortunately could not find them online. I will call and find out the hours of this shop on Monday as well.

If you are unable to buy flowers during business hours, there is always Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart usually has fair priced flowers but in the case of Valentine's Day they tend to go quickly. Wal-Mart is at 1415 Highway 67 South but if you live in Pocahontas you know this. The phone number is 870-892-7703. The service is of course Wal-Mart so there isn't really any service. Wal-Mart is open 24 hours a day.
