It is always best to seek floral arrangement at your local florist rather than calling 1-800 Flowers or a similar 1-800 number. All these 1-800 number do it contract your order to a local florist, so in essence you are simply cutting out the middle man and saving yourself a couple bucks, not to mention assuring the right item you order is delivered on time. Just one experience ordering through 1-800 flowers for my mother's birthday taught me this. For all orders on holidays it is always advised that you call the order in at least 1 day prior to assure it is delivered on time.

Henning's Flower Fair. Located on Cedar Grove Lane in Somerset, right on the edge of Middlesex and Somerset counties, the florist is open seven days a week, 9-5 on weekdays and reduced hours on the weekend. Deliveries are made to: Somerset, Dunellen, Hillsborough, Somerville, Millstone, Belle Mead, Bound Brook, South Bound Brook, North Brunswick, New Brunswick, Green Brook, and Middlesex. They also deliver to St Peters Hospital, UMDNJ, and to Rutgers University. Local delivery is a flat rate of $9.95 per order, per address. A dozen red roses is $54.95, there valentine's day specials starts at $35 all the way to $147.95.

Monday Morning Flower and Balloon Company. Located in Princeton, NJ in Forrestal Village (there is another one in nearby Yardley, PA in Bucks County). Open seven days a week with extended weekday hours of 8am-7pm and reduced hours on the weekend (8-6 Saturday and 9-3 Sunday) They deliver to most towns in Mercer, Middlesex, and Somerset counties, consult the website for more information. The Valentine's Day bouquets start at $34.99 for three roses to $115.95. The florist has been open for the past 20 years and is well known and respected in the area. I have known several people who have used their services for their wedding and have been pleased with the service and product theyreceived.

New Providence Florist. New Providence, NJ located at 44 South Street. Their Valentine's day selection starts at $24.95 for three pink roses in a vase to a high of two dozen red roses for $130.00. Their delivery fee is only $7.95 per order/per address. The florist is closed on Sunday and open Monday-Friday 9-6 pm and Saturday 9-5:30 pm. The shop will deliver to New Providence, Berkeley Heights, Chatham, Chatham Township, Gillette, Madison, Murray Hill, Short Hills, Stirling and Summit.
