Floyd Landis Could See Jail Time

Jacob Horn
I just came across an article on FOXNews.com regarding an arrest warrent being issued for Floyd Landis (http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2010/02/15/french-judge-issues-arrest-warrant-cyclist-floyd-landis/?test=latestnews). Supposedly, he or someone affiliated with him did some illegal coputer hacking. Is all computer hacking illegal? If it is the illegal I put before computer hacking is not needed. Anyways, moving on, I have always been fascinated by this whole situation involving Landis.

For those of you who do not know, let me give you a quick rundown on what happened to him. He won the Tour de France in 2006 but was stripped of his title because of the use of illegal testosterone. I am not real intelligent and I have only been on this earth for a short time but in my experience, most people who are guilty shut up and go away once they have been called a cheater and stripped of their titles. How many of you have heard a peep from Barry Bonds or Roger Clemens recently? Mark McGwire just recently spoke up to say he indeed cheated.

Landis has been fighting these charges tooth and nail since 2006. He has never given any indication that he is guilty. He has spent time, money, and basically ruined what was left of his reputation by fighting this thing. I think most people would call him insane for fighting this thing the way he has. That just does not seem like someone who is guily. Granted, maybe he cheated without knowing it and he still has not convinced himself of this or maybe he is just flat out crazy. It just seems rare to see somebody who is guilty fight for something like this in the manner he has without some good reason. I am not saying I am a Landis supporter but surely there is more to the story one way or another.
