Floyd Mayweather is Going to Crush Juan Marquez

Floyd Mayweather Jr. paid an estimated $600,000 for the chance to come into his fight with Juan Manuel Marquez overweight. There are some estimates that say he will come to the actual fight weighing 150-160 lbs. The agreed upon weight was 144 lbs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. who was at one time crowned the worlds best pound for pound boxer is attempting to reclaim his crown.

With a 15+ lbs advantage over Juan Manuel Marquez, Floyd Mayweather Jr. will be throwing punches akin to what a young Mike Tyson did to his opponents during his reign in the 90s. 32 Year Floyd Mayweather Jr. will come into this fight undefeated and the odds are against 36 Year old Juan Manuel Marquez to hand Floyd Mayweather Jr. his first loss, Marquez is older,slower,lighter,shorter and it doesnt hurt that Floyd Mayweather Jr. has never lost a fight.

There are some (Me) who think that the endless water purge in the days(hours) leading up to the weigh in is actually an insult to the sport of boxing. It goes against the spirit of the weigh in which is supposed to make sure that boxing matches are fair. If you go to a weigh in with the most miniscule amount of water in your body and then spend the next 20 hours re-hydrating the weigh in itself is worthlesss. The weigh in should be conducted an hour or 2 before the fight, not the evening before.

"I just have this feeling that (Juan Manuel) Marquez is going to pull this one off," he said. "I went down to Mexico and saw him train with my own eyes. I saw how much he bulked up; I saw how much strength he has gained; I saw how seriously he's taking this fight.
