Flu Immunization Shots in Charlotte, North Carolina: Target to Walgreens
It is always a good idea to check your Church or Civic Group newsletter. For instance, a Flu shot clinic will be offered to those ages 9 and up from 1 to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2007, at Meyers Park United Methodist Church located at 1501 Queens Road in Charlotte. They state that Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance will cover the cost of a flu vaccine only if it's given at a doctor's office. Target offers the flu shot in October and November on specific dates and times. The Theraflu Web site, which sponsors the flu shot events, states that to get the most up-to-date clinic information, confirm with the customer service line at 866-753-3020 or your local store on the day of the clinic. Another flu shot option is CVS pharmacies, which are probably the most convenient since many of them have a clinic for routine diagnosis, treatment and immunizations, including the flu shot. They are open every day and accept most area insurances, so your cost will be your standard co-pay. Clinic hours are typically 8 am to 8 pm Monday to Friday (closed 2 - 2:30 pm) and Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM. Minuteclinic.com says that the Charlotte area minute clinics are:
