Flu Shots Available as an All in One Shot Now at Many Pharmacies

Flu Shots for H1N1 and Seasonal Flu in a Combined Shot Available

Pat Anthony
Flu shots for H1N1 and the seasonal flu are now offered in a combined form. This means one less shot will be taken by those wanting flu shots.

Several stores with pharmacies in most areas have information posted in the stores about the flu shots being offered. Previously one shot was for the seasonal flu, and one for H1N1. A combined shot allows people to avoid the second trip for a flu shot.

To view details on flu shot recommendations according to age use the age and flu shots link below. Some feel children over a certain age do not need a flu shot. The information on the website will help parents make an informed decision.

While the Centers for Disease Control has not made a statement yet regarding what the 2010-2011 flu season will be like, many people have already received the flu shot.

Walgreen's Pharmacy offers flu shots at many locations. The link below titled Walgreen's contains information about locations and availability of flu shots at these pharmacies.

Flu shots are also available at CVS in the many areas. The CVS link below lists pharmacies and availability at many CVS stores.

Local health departments will often have information about where flu shots are available. Many people prefer to have their flu shots done in a doctor's office. For those without medical insurance or the finances to do this, a pharmacy can be the best choice.

Children are not required to have flu shots in order to attend school. As this is strictly a personal choice, it is up to the parents to determine if the shots will benefit the child.
