Flyff: Fly for Free: Confusing MMORPG is Not What it Says it Is
Flying in any MMORPGs is always difficult. It involves a lot of complex programming that clogs up the system, and must be a real pain to deal with. Most flight in online gaming ends up looking like the flying in Second Life. This flight is unexciting, to say the least.
After all, what makes Superman cool isn't that he flies, but he flies fast, dives, swoops, and swims through air as if it were water. I will give positive points to Flyff for trying to make their flight experience as cool as possible. Flyff allows you to dip, swoop, and go real fast in the air, at amazingly high speeds.
In most games, you have to be a certain level to be awarded the gift of flight, and Flyff is no exception. I thought Flyff would be the first to give you flight right off the bat. That would be a Fly for Free, wouldn't it?
When you do fly, it is like learning to walk. You have to hit the space bar, and it is tricky to do it from keyboard controls alone. You probably shouldn't try it unless you have one of those gaming keypad/controllers that I've been seeing lately.
The difficult controls of flying are no different than the difficulty controlling everything else in Flyff. I realize that most MMORPGs are complicated in their controls, which is often one of the elements that make them fun. However, the complexity of Flyff only created aggravation, not recreation.
Even though the gameplay is a little too complicated, I have to admire Flyff's look and give some kudos to the designers. Flyff's characters have a generally anime type look, mixed with backgrounds plucked from a Western fairy tale. There seems to be one particular housing model, and they usually come with doors you can't open and stairs you can't climb.
Yet on the whole, I have to give a negative review due to the game's overall complexity. Let me put it this way: In order to play the game, I found an online strategy guide to help me. (Yeah, I cheated.) Even with the guide supposedly leading me along that way, I had a heck of a time meeting game objectives.
Clearly, if you want an MMORPG with a challenge, then you should look into Flyff. If you want some online gaming fun, you should probably log on elsewhere.

Lol, its Fly for FUN
Crit fail i would say cause the game named Fly for !!!!!FUN!!!!! and it's not rly based on flying. i played it since V7 and god i can say at this time flying wasn't thath important. now there are rainbow race and things like this but u wrote a feedback about a game thath u dont know the name? wth?
As everybody says: it's Fly For FUN. The controls are really easy and now they have integrated a system to help new players with the controls, quests and levels. Everything is explained in the game itself, you don't have to look for nearly anything.
the flying controls might be complicated IF you use the keyboard, but nobody uses it; just use your MOUSE, it's a computer!!
That revieuw of yours makes me think of something.... Has somebody payed you (some other game companies) to difamate Flyff? Otherwise you would have done a positive comment...

Do you have any clue what your talking about, I don't think you have even played this game to make as many dumb remarks as those. As for the fact that you complain about not flying at lvl 1, who needs to make it around the entire map before they know how to play? (because we all know a lvl 1 could use the flight controls seamlessly after a minute or two)
