This Friday, Sept. 10th begins a week of building scaling dance. On weekend nights through the 18th at 8 and 9:30pm, an entire troop of dancers from Flyaway Productions will tumble, glide and parade right down the side of the Women's Building. To accompany the show, Ava Mendoza will host a musical serenade by Jewlia Eisenburg.
Celebrating 100 years of being a structure is something worth bringing these amazing stunts to the public. The Women's Building, established in 1971, is a local community center specializing in helping girls and women to achieve equality. The performances can be seen at their location at 3543 18th St., in the Mission District.
