Flying Fish Swim School Coming to Mountain View

Flying Fish Swim School is coming to Mountain View. The company recently closed escrow on the property at 270/280 Polaris Avenue. The 10k square foot building they purchased was built in 1959, and will undergo a significant transformation in order to house the planned six-lane, 25-yard, competition style pool and swim facility. Among the amenities are fully equipped locker rooms and showers, a large free parking lot, an open viewing area, free wi-fi, and in the future, a café, and a Flying Fish Swim Store.

Among the state-of-the-art upgrades will be a filtration system that cleans the air and controls humidity, and an automated system for optimum water balance, making it a "clean, safe, and comfortable swimming experience," according to FFSS. The facility is scheduled to open in January, and is currently taking sign-ups for classes.
