Folgers Instant Coffee Versus General Foods International Instant Coffee

Lana
In this fast paced world that we live in brewing a pot of coffee seems to take forever (meaning only minutes in all actuality).Fortunately over the years the coffee industry has made our lives a little easier , for coffee drinkers that is ,to enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee in about as much time as it takes to get dressed in the morning,if you get dressed fairly quick.

Folgers being a top brand name in coffee came up with their Classic Roast coffee and their Decaf coffee in convenient easy to use singles so anyone can enjoy a cup of the original flavor of coffee at any time. The only draw back here comes with those that like a little boost of flavor added. After your cup of coffee is ready you can still add your sugar and creamers which adds to the time frame, taking a bit longer to enjoy your hot treat.

Overlooked often is the instant coffees produced by General Foods International.Available in many varieties such as Cafe Francais,Cafe Vienna,Creme Caramel,French Vanilla,Swiss White Chocolate and a few others take coffee to a whole new level. The varieties of these coffees are very enjoyable and already have sugar added in them and no need for creamer because the coffee is already flavored plus,if you don't want the sugar or can't have it ,they do offer sugar-free coffees as well.

I love a good cup of "Joe" to get myself going and I have tried both Folgers and several varieties of the General foods International coffees, here I am a little torn because I do love the classic roast flavors of the original coffee taste such as Folgers. But,I also love the varieties and the convenience of General Foods International coffees, this is a tough call to make but I'll have to go with General Foods International. If you haven't tried General Foods International coffees yet and you love coffee you should give it a whirl.

    Café Vienna SUGAR FREE

About a month ago I saw SF Cafe Vienna on the shelves at Publix with a clearance tag. I purchased every one. The next week the shelf was restocked. I asked the sales manager what was the story, and he said it sold out, so we got more. I did not think much of it.

I went to local Publix yesterday and it was gone. There was not even a space for it. I went to a second and then a third Publix’s. It was not available at any of them. Then I tried Super Target and Winn Dixie, to no avail. At that point I knew something was up, so I went searching online and have discovered this upsetting news. This poor decision is all the buzz online, as several sites have dedicated pages to this discussion.

This was more than just an enjoyable beverage to me. Some of the defining moments of my life have been contemplated and seen through with a cup of SF Cafe Vienna in hand. Perhaps it is time to move on, but I hope not. It was a simple way to indulge, without undo

I also what to know why the Orange Cappuccino (not sugar free) was taken off the market, this was my favorite out of all of the flavors, please bring it back or atleast let us order it onling.

My sister has loved General Mills Sugar Free Orange Cappuccino for as long as I can remember, and she has been so depressed because its not in production anymore. There is no replacement for this coffee, the orange spice is great for the holidays but not for the loyal customers that love just plan orange coffee. Please bring it back, my sister is having withdrawal symptoms and I don't want to be around her when she is so agitated. As the other people have asked, why is it when something sells so well, it is taken off the market?

Why in the world stop making the General Mills Orange Cappuccino?? I've bought it for so many years and it was the flavor they always ran out of first and the most often. Please bring it back.

I don't know what causes companies to stop making a product..I really think sometimes is just boardom at the top.. I don't think they have ever tried the product..You did it with English Breakfast Tea (great one), stopped making it...Now it's the Chai Latte...Can't find it anywhere..Only sugar free and it doesn't cut it...Please bring it back...It's like having Starbucks but I can afford it....

I agree completely. Bring back ORANGE CAPPUCCINO, pleeeze

  • Carol10/1/2009

Please bring back the Orange Cappucino flavor. The Orange Spice Latte does not have a good flavor and some nasty foam on top. I'll have to find another coffee brand if it doesn't come back.
