Follow the Beat of a Different Drummer

Whether young, middle age or beyond, there is no doubt about it, music is good for the soul. According to a study called The Mozart Effect , music can not only soothe a brain with epilepsy and other disorders, but help improve memory function as well. Very interesting stuff. So where to begin when starting to delve into yours or your children's desire to not just listen anymore, but participate as well? Springfield Music Store

Of course in this piece I had to include a music store I wrote about a while back. This store is called Springfield Music Store. For the sake of this particular article though, allow me to entertain the short and sweet of it. Springfield Music Store has a little bit of everything. A beginner can walk through that front door and be helped without feeling intimidated and an excelled music student can walk through and find something they didn't even knew existed. The staff is amazing, never pushy in any way and always helpful. There are lessons available here as well as instruments to buy and rent. There is also repair. Need I say more?

Todaro's Music Store

This store is a true gem, another "family run" store. In other words, from the first day walked through the door to this store, it was the owner I talked to and got help from. Not just some young person fulfilling a parental obligation to "get a job." The owner is into music heart and sole and is extremely knowledgeable about music from around the world! Always happy to chat and give you the musical information your soul desires. This music store has been in our midst here in Delaware County Pa since 1988!
