Food Allergies Symptoms
Food allergies treatments are needed because these allergies involve an immune system response. The body mistakes an ingredient as dangerous and creates antibodies to fight it. Food allergy symptoms include rashes, hives, nausea, diarrhea, itchy skin, shortness of breath, and swelling of tongue or throat. Anaphylaxis is an abrupt, potentially life-threatening allergic reaction.
Top 8: Most food allergies fall into these top 8 foods
1) Milk
2) Eggs
3) Peanuts
4) Tree nuts (such as almonds, cashews, walnuts)
5) Fish (such as bass, cod, flounder)
6) Shellfish (such as crab, lobster, shrimp)
7) Soy
8) Wheat
Allergies treatment
Eliminate offending foods while cleansing and re-building the immune system. Then, incorporate substitute foods into the diet. It's a good idea to add these substitute foods anyway. Even if there are no food allergies, variety in a diet is helpful and helps to avoid allergies.
Substitute Foods
Milk allergies: almond milk, coconut milk, oat milk, rice milk
Eggs: applesauce for baking, scrambled tofu, 1 banana = 1 egg in cakes
Nut allergies: pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, almond butter, soy nut butter
Fish: allergies are often to mercury in fish, try chicken, turkey or vegetarian diet
Shellfish substitutes such as imitation crab
Soy: almond, oat, hemp, rice or Seitan instead of tofu
Wheat allergies: corn chips, popcorn, rice cakes/crackers, rice or corn pasta
Cleansing
There are many cleansing options available. Some options are: whole-body cleanse products, colonics, fasting and skin-brushing. I don't recommend ionic footbaths at this point, because there is evidence of negative effects to the human, electro-magnetic field.
Immune System
One of the easiest methods of re-building the immune system is to make sure probiotics are in the diet and taking elderberry products in juice or pills. Click here for more information on re-building the immune system.
Don't panic if someone in the family has been diagnosed with food allergies. With knowledge and planning ahead, new habits are easy to get started. And introducing new foods into the diet is beneficial anyway. Use these steps for food allergies treatment.
