Here are some types that eat healthy than most, but are in reality not vegetarians. Pescetarians do not eat any meat except fish. Macrobiotic eaters, eat raw unprocessed vegan food, whole grains, vegetables, fruits, and some Fish. They use a lot of Asian vegetables in their diet, and also eliminate sugar and certain oils.
There are plenty of vegetarian types and you also have to take that into consideration when you are preparing food. I'll just name a few. One type of vegetarian is Lacto-Ovo. Lacto-Ovo vegetarians do not eat beef, poultry, Seafood , or any other animal but does eat eggs and dairy food. Lacto Vegetarians do not eat meat or eggs, but Eat dairy products. Ovo vegetarians eat eggs, but do not eat dairy or meat products. Vegans, do not eat any meat, dairy, eggs, processed food, or anything that derives from an animal. There is even a question of whether honey should be consumed.
So that brings us to the question again, what do vegetarians eat? The simplicity is that all you have to do
Is go back to the basics of food. Vegetarians eat, fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts and seeds. That's it. They care about what goes into their bodies. So once you Know what type of vegetarian you are serving, or want to be, the next question is what do I prepare? Do You make three vegetable dishes and call it day? No, way! I am vegetarian, and believe me, you can be vegetarian and eat almost anything! Here's the easy way to make a meal. The next time you are in the supermarket, go down the natural food or should I say, organic food aisle. Whatever you find in the regular food aisles, you can find in the organic section. If you live in Upstate New York, then the best place to go would be Wegmans. They have the best, in my opinion, organic food section .
Make sure to look at the ingredients on the boxes, and when you are choosing vegetarian meats, make sure that it says meatless on the box. Sometimes the kosher and the vegetarian meats are shelved together. Also, all vegetarian meats are not equal. I have tried some of the nastiest, tasteless vegetarian meat on the face of this earth, so I stick to the main brands That I like. My favorite brands are MorningStar Farms, Worthington and Loma Linda. So, If are unsure what to prepare, go to your organic food section. It'll give you plenty of ideas for vegetarian meals.
