The Food Network 4-in-1 Griddle has three dials on the front to adjust for the use and temperature. Each dial has a blue indicator light to let you know the griddle is on and if it has reached the appropriate temperature. The top has a floating hinge so that paninis and other sandwiches are grilled evenly without being fat on one end and skinny on the other. The plates are easily changed at the push of a button.
I have the stainless steel version which is easy to clean and looks great in my kitchen. But I have also seen them available in red with red indicator lights on the controls. The Food Network 4-in-1 Griddle has been used almost daily since I got it about a month ago. In fact it is used so much that it has a permanent home on the counter. It is easy to use and clean. The waffle and griddle plates can usually be wiped clean with a damp cloth. The grill plates need a little soap and water and the cleaning tool gets right into the grooves. We have made waffles, paninis, sandwiches, steaks, burgers, bacon, and various other things without a problem.
The only downside I have found on the Food Network 4-in-1 Griddle is that it does not use cool touch technology. When in use the griddle gets very hot to the touch and could be a hazard for curious young children. Storing the plates can be a slight issue. They should be stored where they will not rub against each other or anything else. The easiest storage I have found is in a drawer with a dish towel between them to prevent them from rubbing or touching.
I would highly recommend the Food Network 4-in-1 griddle to anyone looking for an appliance to do it all. It is great for someone who is short on space but wants the convenience of a waffle iron, grill, and griddle. The Food Network 4-in-1 Griddle would make a great housewarming or wedding gift.

Post a CommentI received this griddle as a gift about 2 years ago. Within 2 months, the bottom started cracking and falling off. I took it back to Kohls and exchanged it for another one. This happened 2 more times. I kept getting another one because I love the features, and I hoped that the problem with the bottom plate cracking and falling off had been fixed. My daughter also had one of these, and the same thing happened. Calling Food Network had no results. They just said to take it back to Kohls, even when it was still in warranty. The last time I took one back, I found that it had been clearanced out, so I could not exchange it. A store employee found one that was in the clearance aisle, but when I turned it upside down to look at it, the bottom was also cracked and missing a piece. They did offer to give me $20+ dollars for it, far below what it originally cost.
Sounds like a great product :)
nice review
Nice review.
I saw the Food Network 4-in-1 Griddle a few weeks ago and thought it would be a great kitchen appliance. I'm glad you wrote this review because you made my decision to purchase it much easier :-)
