Review of Amy's Vegetable Lasagna : Packaging Recyclability

A one serving 9.5oz (269g) package of Amy's Vegetable Lasagna was purchased at Giant for $4.49. Packaging of this vegetarian lasagna frozen entree is a cardboard or paperboard box. Inside the box is a paperboard tray wrapped in plastic. My curbside recycling takes frozen food packaging like this. As stated in my other associated content articles, package recyclability is something I consider to be important when purchasing products.

Review of Amy's Vegetable Lasagna : Taste

Remove from the outer cardboard box, vent the plastic, and it can be cooked in the microwave. Different instructions are on the box for cooking in a conventional oven or toaster oven. I microwaved it and ate out of the box. I'd like to try it with fresh basil as pictured in the serving suggestion. This is a filling vegetarian lasagna.

Vegetables in this vegetarian lasagna include tomatoes, zucchini, spinach, onions, carrots, and garlic. Cheeses are mozzarella, ricotta cheese, cottage cheese, and parmesan. Standout flavors are tomato sauce, spinach, parmesan, and ricotta cheese.

I like many of Amy's brand frozen entrees and I like this microwavable vegetarian lasagna. This product is organic and has clear information on the package for people with food allergies. The vegetable lasagna frozen entree described in this associated content article is a great choice if you prefer something vegetarian, organic, or require something free of peanuts, eggs, fish, shellfish, or other meat. I would buy it again and would like to try more Amy's brand frozen entrees.
