The next day we opened a can of the Del Monte Chopped Spinach for dinner. It was a tasty and delicious vegetable served as a side dish with a piece of ham. The Del Monte Chopped Spinach was extremely tender. We enjoyed eating the spinach with some extra virgin olive oil drizzled on the top. The Del Monte Chopped Spinach was a very nice way to get more vegetables into our diet.
The label on the can only has directions for preparing using a microwave. If you do not have a microwave or prefer to use a stovetop instead, you can call the company and inquire about stovetop directions.
Some nutritional facts listed on the can's label are: the serving size is ½ a cup with 30 calories, 0g of total fat, 0mg of cholesterol, 360mg of sodium, 4g of total carbohydrates, 2g of dietary fiber, 2g of protein, and 0g of sugars.
According to the label, Del Monte guarantees that the chopped spinach is picked fresh and packed fresh without any preservatives. We like the fact that the spinach is packed without any preservatives.
We prefer this Del Monte Chopped Spinach over frozen spinach because it tastes good and is easier to prepare than the frozen spinach.

This was the first time that we purchased the Del Monte Chopped Spinach, but if we see it again at the discount store, we will definitely buy some more cans if the price is still $.55.
