There are 8 grams of total fat per serving. From that 1.5 grams are saturated fat. There is no trans fat. There is also no cholesterol. There is 180 mg of sodium per serving. There is 17 grams of total carbohydrates per serving. There is 1 gram of dietary fiber. Sugars are 1 gram. Protein is 2 grams.
Ingredients: There are too many to list but the first one is whole corn. The rest you can probably find on their website www.fritolay.com. You can also call them 1-800-352-4477. They are open from 9:00 - 4:30 central time. You should only eat the chips by the expiration date on the bag or else they might taste stale. What I don't like about the bag of Doritos is that I have trouble closing them. My husband needs to close them for me or else they always go stale. He has these super powers of closing the bag so tightly they never go stale. Me on the other hand cannot close this bag at all.
Taste: They are so delicious I don't know where to begin. If you get a really good batch then they are extra cheesy. They can be so cheesy that your fingers turn orange and stay orange for quite some time. They do tend to make me thirsty. They are extremely crunchy, not soggy at all. They are thick and don't crumble when you bite into them. They do leave an aftertaste for a little while after you eat them. Sometimes I need to take a Tums after eating them, but again that is probably because I ate way too many. I can't help it they are so addictive.
Looks: Each chip is a triangular shape. They are orange/red in color. You can actually see the cheese on each chip. The extra cheesy chips are really dark orange/red. The chip is about 5 inches long and wide. The bag is pretty full which is surprising. Most bag of chips are filled with empty air. You definitely get your money's worth with a bag of Doritos. The 12 and a half ounce bag sells for $3.99 but I usually find them on sale for 2 bags for $5.00. That is a great sale. You can find them at your local supermarket or at Target. You can find them at any convenient store, gas store, CVS, etc...
I highly recommend the Nacho Cheese Doritos especially if you are having a party. These usually go first. You can also buy them in other flavors like cool ranch, guacamole, four cheese, baked (low fat), blazin' buffalo & ranch, poppin'jalapeno, taco, and so many more. They seem to come out with a new flavor every year. I think they get a little too crazy with their flavors. You can't go wrong with the original nacho cheese. If it's not broke, don't fix it.
