Post a CommentI feed my three dogs (miniature pincher, yorkie & doberman), Taste of The Wild exclusively. I usually rotate the 4 varietes with no ill effects. I am always getting compliments on their shiny coats. Additionally, their poops are small and dry!
Sounds like an advertisement for the food. Grain-free is not a benefit unless the pet has an allergy or food-sensitivity to the particular grain. No corn? That's a grain and again not necessarily a negative. You can get some good amino acids from soy. The negative impression given to these products is overplayed; it goes back to the individual being allergic or sensitive. Guaranteed analysis means very little. You could put ground up cow hooves , which are primarily protein, in a food and get nearly any protein level you want. Problem is it is undigestible protein. If you want to truly know the nutritional values, they must be digestible values.
I have a Schnuuzer puppy he is 5 months old. I had been feeding him Taste of the Wild%2CBison and such and i think it turned rancid%2C as it started to give him horrid gas and breath smelled . I called company they sent me a refund and suggested i try totw%2Cpacific fish%2C well it is even worse now. I am wondering if it is too rich or what. I am going to try something different tomorrow. I am also calling company and asking what is happening once again. This is just nasty%21%21%21
I love this dog food. its ingredients are awesome, it has great percentages and isnt that expensive per year. however i its mother brand has had recalls. i know that taste of the wild itself hasnt but then again it is fairly new. it doesnt say this on the bag but its mother company is diamond. however as far as brands go this isnt necessarily a bad thing. besides the whole corn issue three years back diamond has had a clean slate. TOTW is a fantastic product though and i always suggest it to customers at the pet store i work at.
