There are three types of bulking. There is clean bulking, where a person attempts to pack on as much lean muscle as possible while strictly watching the amount of fat being consumed. To do this stay away from pizza, hamburgers, soda, potato chips, candy and any kind of junk food or fast foods. Consume fruits, non-fat milk, cottage cheese, rice, lean chicken breast and turkey. Eat steak (with all the fat cut out), pasta and any other healthy foods. This type of bulk for for people with a slow metabolism.
Regular bulking is where one tries to pack on as much lean muscle mass as possible while watching the amount of fat be consumed. do this by staying away from junk food, and fast foods. Eat plenty of steak, chicken breast, tuna, skim milk, low fat yogurt, eggs, pizza (not to greasy), beans bread and fruit. This bulk is for the average person, with an average metabolism.
Lastly there is dirty bulking. Dirty bulking is where someone tries to put on as much muscle as they can, without caring about the fat that they are eating. Here you can eat lots of junk food and fast foods, or anything you want. Dirty bulking leads to a lot of weight gain, and is probably not the best one for the average person with the average metabolism.
Here are a few other foods to help you gain bulk muscle: filet mignon, roast beef, Cod, Halibut, Salmon, bacon and pork tenderloin. Oatmeal, rice cakes, any beans, corn and peas. Fresh fruit (not canned or dried), apples, blueberries, cantaloupe, cherries, grapefruit, honeydew, grapes, oranges, raspberries and strawberries. Also try cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, mushrooms, peppers, onions, zucchini, tomatoes, walnuts, heavy cream and real butter
