How? By eating!
Well, okay, by eating the right foods.
Milk Burns Belly Fat
Have you seen those commercials on television about milk that show the curve of a glass and then fade into the curve of a woman, then they go on to talk about how drinking milk each day can help you lose weight? Well, if you go to the website advertised in those announcements, you'll see research there that indicates milk and other dairy products and how they do help with a lower calorie diet. In particular, these dairy products, when consumed in the right proportions with an otherwise healthy diet, actually do help burn belly fat.
Yogurt Burns Belly Fat
One study reported on WebMD looked at eating yogurt, fat-free of course, and then reducing the normal diet by 500 calories, but still eating other things the participants wanted, and the participants lost 22% more weight and 61% more body fat over all. In addition to this, they lost 81% more belly fat!
There are tons of diet books that talk about including yogurt to help with digestion and regularity while dieting, whether for weight loss or otherwise, so there has to be something to this theory, I'm thinking. Fat-free, flavored yogurt can be added to things like a high-fiber cereal flakes, mixed with fresh fruits, or as a topping for other dishes or desserts. It's easy to add yogurt to your daily diet!
Catabolic Foods Burn Belly Fat
Foods that take more energy to eat, chew, swallow and digest than they provide in calories are called catabolic foods. Eating foods that burn more calories than they have can help you lose weight and still feel full. These foods can be added as filler foods to your diet, and the more of them you eat, the more you will burn belly fat. These foods include: sour pickles, lettuce, some greens, celery, most whole citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, limes) but not fruit juices, cucumbers, zucchini, radishes, asparagus. Do an internet search for catabolic foods and find a reputable list of all the odd foods that aren't included on this list too.
These foods are wonderful compliments to your diet, and in a pinch, you can switch to a full catabolic and dairy diet, and burn belly fat while eating as much as you want of the approved foods, throw in a little bit of good protein, and the weight will slide right off, and especially burning belly fat!
Burning belly fat is the stubborn fat that most people seek to lose, even when only moderately overweight. It seems the belly fat is the toughest fat that hangs on when all the rest goes. Changing your diet to healthier food choices, and adding in good dairy and yogurt and catabolic foods will help burn belly fat naturally, without dangerous pills and tough exercises. If you add a little physical activity in with it, you'll be looking fine in time for the summer bathing suit season!
