Foods for Oily Skin

Oily skin can be a pain, no sooner have you washed your face and applied your as soon as you have you washed your face and applied your moisturiser, your face looks oily and shiny again.

Make up tends to slide off oily skin very quickly, and even mattifying moisturisers aren't always enough.

But very often, the key to combating oily skin, lies in what you eat.

What we put into our bodies has a very significant effect on what we see on the outside.

Be sure to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables to keep your vitamin C levels up. These will also help to remove toxins from your body which result in damaged skin.

A vitamin B2 deficiency can cause oily skin, eat plenty of whole grains, beans and nuts.

Leafy green vegetables also contain a good deal of vitamin B2.

Make sure you drink plenty of water, this will help keep your body hydrated and help to remove any toxins and keep your skin clear.

Make sure your diet contains plenty of omega 3, this helps to ensure smooth skin and prevent dehydration and damage from free radicals.
