Cobblestones
Cool beneath my feet.
I shiver
While listening to the water
Trickling through the hills
And surrounding me.
Cool beneath my feet.
I shiver
While listening to the water
Trickling through the hills
And surrounding me.
Quietude
Piercing to my heart.
Warming me
While I gaze upward to the moon
Where cotton ball clouds
Wear silver halos
Against the bluish purple sky.

Sometimes there is no solace or comfort like being outside. Thanks for reminding me to appreciate those times. Such a lovely poem, too!
