For the Better Good of Humanity!

Inspired by the reaction I got when I helped out Jack Wellman, who most of you know from Associated Content. What a great man he is. Anyway, I was doing some net browsing one morning looking for a few writing gigs here and there, when I came across about a dozen that reminded me of Jack. Thinking nothing of it, I sent them to him in a private message on associated content. To my surprise I began to cry as I read his reply msg. It was stated as this:

Hi Shell,

Wow, you are such a God-send to me my friend, I cannot even begin to tell you. I cried when I received your messages here. My words and gratitude to you and to God, for He must have sent you when I needed you the most. I thank God for you my dear sister in Christ Jesus. It is like the Body of Christ and the left hand helping the right hand by removing a splinter. I am so indebted to you. Do you know that when you help another member of Christ's Body, you do this to Him? I pray and you answered it. I am still trying to write as I give thanks thru tears. How can I ever thank you. You're treasure in heaven is piling up, I must tell you, for you have what Paul calls the Crown of Righteousness. There are at least 5 Crowns that some believers will have someday and I must believe you will wear many.

Oh friend, I thank you and again I give thanks to God FOR you. Yes, I will let you know when I get work from these sites. You are such a comfort to a troubled soul. I so want to thank you for your words of truth and they comfort they have brought me. You are such a good and godly woman. I really needed this. I have taken considerable heat in comments and personal messages about my Christian articles, especially the one about Oprah. I am not interested in making money off this. I was trying to warn those who think that there are other paths to God that end-around Jesus are false paths and there is but One and only True way, as you said and that is only thru Jesus Christ and Him alone (Acts 4:12).

Your comforting words were food for my spirit for I have taken no few hits and personal attacks over this. Interestingly, I have had many agonists, atheists and skeptics even compliment this article, so I pray that He would use me and this article to draw those to Himself via the Holy Spirit that they too might be saved for eternal punishment, like you and me. God bless you so much friend. You comments came JUST when I needed them most, like a messenger of God, literally. I thank you and I thank God FOR you my friend.

I could not believe I touched a complete stranger's heart, without intentionally meaning to the way I did for this man. It made me feel incredibly good to have such an effect on some one's life.

Inspired by Jacks response I thought of a movie I have seen a while pack called PAY IT FORWARD. It is about doing something nice for someone and not asking anything in return but for them to pay the good deed on by helping out another. My plan is to unite us as AC contributors in these tough times and help one another out by playing this pay it forward game. Please join me as I continue my quest to get another response like I got out of Jack! Believe me, the satisfaction is the best feeling in the world!
