For Contact Lens Care at a Reasonable Price, Try Bausch & Lomb Sensitive Eyes Plus Saline Solution
A Good Bet for Contact Lens Cleaning
Although I have been a contact lens user for over 15 years, sometimes my eyes become irritated. It could be as a result of dust, pollen or just plain irritation in which you will need to take your contacts off for old reliable - the glasses. This happened to me when I was at work. My right eye became so red that I just couldn't take it any longer. I was lucky enough to carry my lens case with me just in case of emergency and manage to store my glasses (which aren't bad looking) into my purse.
Since I am a contact lens user, the protection of my lenses has always been very important to me. I used the Ciba Vision System saline for years until a visit to my eye doctor. During that visit, the doctor wanted to make sure that I was using and maintaining my lenses correctly. When we came to the subject of saline, my doctor told me that there is really no difference among the brands of saline offered.
Ciba Vision saline was always priced a bit on the high side. I decided it was time to try a new product. After going to the local Target store in my area, Bausch & Lomb Sensitive Eyes Plus Saline Solution was on sale for less than $2.00 for 12 fl. oz. and quite a bargain from my usual Ciba Vision brand. I decided to use it and have been happy with its use in my everyday life. The Bausch & Lomb Sensitive Eyes Plus Saline Solution refreshes my lenses. I am also able to store the lenses in my lens case using this solution.
Other than price, I can't tell the difference between the solutions. I have experienced no irritation with the Bausch & Lomb Sensitive Eyes Plus Saline Solution, probably due to the potassium, which is a component found in natural tears. Of course, as with any other product, you will want to take care not to keep the solution past its expiration date.
So if you are a contact lens wearer and have been using the higher priced brands, try Bausch & Lomb Sensitive Eyes Plus Saline Solution and maybe you will end up saving a bit of money in the long run. You can find the product lower prices in stores like Target or Walmart, and it may even come with a manufacturer's coupon inside the box.
