To my dad on his day
I wish you could lay
Around on the sofa all day
Watching your favorite show
Telling me all you know
I am wishing
Maybe we go fishing
We would spend all day on the lake
And we would partake
Of all we could shake
This is the day
When you are number one
And I am your son
We spend all day
Doing what you want
Just so you will know
How we value you
You work so hard
So life wont be for us
And we know it is tough
But we love you dad
On this your special day
We care today
Tomorrow
And always!
