The Grand Sierra Resort is a trip that I won't soon forget, and can't wait to visit again. Nestled in Reno Nevada this exquisite one in a million travel destination is basically all anyone would need without venturing out to any other Reno or Lake Tahoe destination.

The Grand Sierra Resort is located at 2500 East Second Street in Reno and is just off Hwy 395. The Grand Sierra harbors not only a vast hotel but plenty of other activities for any family or couple fun filled vacation. The hotel is exquisite and has plenty of different priced rooms for most any pocketbook, ranging from vast suites to standard type lodging. The Grand Sierra houses some of the best premier fine dining restaurants along with one of the largest casinos in Northern Nevada and the adventure concierge is well versed in making sure your vacation is packed full of as many activities as you can physically tackle.

The Grand Sierra also has a vast RV Park for those that travel with their own lodging, however trust me even though you may have an RV this hotel resort extravaganza is well worth the money and more than likely you will ditch the RV for at least a one nights stay in this massive exciting structure.

Besides having all the standard an lavish activities that you might expect with a large extravagant resort hotel and casino complex such as a spa and captivating night life adult activities. This resort is well known for it family fun and outstanding adventure activities such as

The Grand Sierra Adventure Desk which can set you up with virtually any sport excursion you can imagine. Located in the lobby of the hotel the concierge can assist you with golfing or skiing excursions to any local area travel destination, as well as help you with motorcycle rentals and boat or jet ski rentals.

The Grand Sierra also has plenty of fun activities right on the premises including a 50 lane huge bowling lanes that features a great cosmic bowling adventure, a huge water area that includes a large pool , cabanas, poolside dining and even a soft beach area in which to play in the sand. The Grand Sierra also houses a gigantic amusement type thrill park that includes bungee, hang gliding and sky diving all in one. Most of the adventures are a little too heart stopping for me however the kids really enjoy it and for all those who like living on the edge these thrills are sure to make your heart jump in your throat.

One of my favorites believe it or not was the Fun Quest area, with all the arcade games. I loved the standard mixed with the fantastic high tech games that make you feel as though your actually in the game. There is over 40000 square feet of fun and some of the latest arcade type tech games that I have ever seen including a 6000 square feet laser adventure area where you can be swarmed by tons of sights and sounds while getting shot by your competitors.

The Grand Sierra also houses a beautiful cinema and for only 3 dollars per person the family can enjoy a movie. Believe it or not they even have cozy love seating that provide for plenty of cuddling and relaxing while being surrounded by some of the best high def sound.

The Grand Sierra also has miniature golf, indoor golf and even a fantastic go kart area in which to keep any family hopping. I loved the fact that most everything was on site and you felt at ease letting your older kids enjoy things. There is high tech security everywhere and plenty of hotel and resort staff to make you feel secure and at ease. I loved the whole experience and really didn't get to see or do everything I wanted because we ran out of time, however I will go back and soon.
