For My Grandson

Charlotte Kuchinsky

I feel your hand

Inside of mine;

My soul takes flight;

Becomes divine.

I see your smile.

It lights my day.

All worries cease

And I'm okay.

Your gentle laugh

Both warms and rings.

It joins with mine

And my heart sings.

Your little arms

Around my waist

Bring me such joy;

A heaven's taste.

You are my life.

You are my breath.

That you will be

Until my death.

A precious gift

Meant just for me.

This Nana feels

Oh so lucky!
