For Maximum Value Ground Coffee Review

FMV Ground Coffee

Chen Salis
I do a lot of my grocery shopping at my local Kroger's because they offer a great affordable line of store brand products and this store will double manufacturers coupons up to fifty cents face value. If you have read any of my reviews before you might know I am a big fan of the For Maximum Value line of products, otherwise known as FMV.

Today I had to stop by Kroger's to pick up a few items such as pop, coffee and toilet tissue. While I was standing in the coffee and tea aisle staring at all of the expensive cans of coffee, the good old FMV ground coffee caught my eye. I have enjoyed the flavor and savings from every FMV product I have purchased before so I did not hesitate to pick up a 13 ounce can. I paid less than two dollars for a small can of coffee. Folgers was around five dollars for the same sized can.

I made a half a pot of coffee as soon as I got home because I was anxious to try out my latest bargain buy. As soon as I opened the can of For Maximum Value ground coffee I was greeted by a full delicious aroma of freshly ground coffee. My mouth nearly watered as the FMV coffee was brewing. It smelled every bit as good as the standard Folgers or Maxwell House ground coffee most people purchase. I knew that regardless of how it tasted I did not have to worry, For Maximum Value ground coffee, like all other FMV products is backed up by a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not pleased with your purchase you can return the unused portion and get a replacement or a full refund. When trying FMV products made by the Kroger company you never have to worry.

This generic store brand coffee tastes every bit as great as it smells. It does not have a bitter aftertaste as you would get with a product such as Chase and Sanborn or similar inexpensive coffees. In this state of economic uncertainty it makes a lot of sense to purchase generic and store brand labels instead of the national brands. This coffee is really flavorful and delicious. I will continue to purchase FMV ground coffee and I would recommend it to others, you can't go wrong when you are saving money and still enjoying taste and quality.

I just picked up a big (34oz) can of "Kroger Value" ground coffee. I got it for $4.88. I can't wait to try it. I didn't see a FMV brand. Now that I think of it, I haven't seen that brand in a while here in Richmond, VA. I wonder if they relabel it in certain areas.
