The week before that Nicole "Snooki" Polizza was fighting Angelina Pivarnick, and throughout the whole season, the majority of the cast ganged up on Angelina with that old played out bully excuse: "She brings it on herself." Not a single one of them, Vinny, Mike "The Situation," Pauly D, Ron Ron or even Sammi, did anything that could be even remotely construed as an effort to make peace and stop the rude and obnoxious treatment. Don't even bring up JWoww's talk to Angelina about having earned the right to be in the house and how JWoww thought Angelina should stay. JWoww said nothing to the other members of the house as to why they shouldn't act that way, and had long made it known that she didn't even like Angelina, so that was more like a domestic violence situation where friends or relatives of the abuser advise the victim not to leave -- and that happens all the time!
Now the two brazen guidettes have joined in Brittany Snow's "Love is Louder" campaign. Snow started this campaign after the tragic suicide of Rutgers student Tyler Clementi in partnership with MTV and the Jed Foundation (with support from DoSomething.org, the Trevor Project, Reach Out, Active Minds and the Ad Council). The object is to spread messages of love and hope to teens who feel they might have run out of options.
MTV, Snooki, JWoww and the whole cast of Jersey Shore are promoting a show where the characters are the very types who bullied kids try to stay away from, often unsuccessfully, so the very idea that they care about the issue is ludicrous.
But just so you shouldn't laugh at the sheer gall of it all, I suppose, their participation is very short. Snooki says: "We know what it's like to be discriminated against," and JWoww says: "But I know that love is louder than hate."
Yeah, right. Unless you're too prissy for her taste. Then she might beat you up.
This is worse than Eminem denouncing profanity.
After leaving the 'Jersey Shore,' Angelina Pivarnick appeared on MTV's 'The Seven', where she testified to castmate-turned-bully behaviors: "I couldn't take the abuse anymore .... I was definitely bullied ... I was definitely the person that everybody blamed for everything. I was blamed for the note. Meanwhile, I didn't even do it. I was blamed for talking about everybody. Meanwhile ... everybody talks about everybody."
Maybe MTV is planning to reverse this disturbing situation with a love fest on the 'Jersey Shore,' instead of another knock-down drag-out hair extension-pulling fight.

Post a CommentIt's quite ironic when a BULLY joins an anti-bullying campaign. It's like a hit man supporting anti gun laws! It's really sad when someone has to DIE for a jerk to realize they're a jerk! I never liked Jenny Farley. She's EVIL
Great article! Brittany's a Tampa girl - glad she's doing something so positive, just hopes it doesn't get tarnished by others.
Well done Valerie!
Well isn't that special. OMG already.
Call me cynical, but I don't think they're sincere and just see this as another way to promote themselves.
LOL! LOL! The irony of it all...hysterical!
