For Single Guys with Nothing Better to Do

Single men! Are you kind of...board? Does life tend to be repetitious? Have you ever wanted to be the first to discover something good before your friends do? Here it is. Take a trip - somewhere. And if you really want to discover 'the true you', try traveling alone for a change, without your bros. You're single, on your own, have a decent paying job, a working car, and no plans for your vacation. Spring and summer are rapidly approaching, go make plans. Traveling can truly brighten your horizons. There's a whole world to see out there caveman.

It doesn't have to be a daydream anymore.

Remember when you were a kid, and how much you enjoyed Halloween? You expected to receive a treat at every door. Traveling can be just as exhilarating as those childhood pastimes. If you live in Seattle, have you ever wanted to see the (Greenwich) Village in New York? You're from Houston or Raleigh, how does San Francisco appeal to you? Boise is a cool place to come from, but doesn't Miami's South Beach sound like fun? You get the point. No matter the time of year you wish to travel or where, there are numerous domestic hot spots for a single guy to visit. If you're usually kind of introverted, you'll loosen up when you get into the groove of other places like Las Vegas, Chicago, Phoenix, Atlanta, Honolulu, Sand Diego and Los Angeles or a whole slew of other great places. There are air/hotel/car packages out there up the ying-yang dude. If you're more adventurous, take a road trip. Car rental deals offer unlimited mileage and navigation systems to guide you around.

A memorable vacation can cost less than two weeks pay.

You don't need a lot of money. Try a cruise which is all inclusive, meaning food, soft beverages, entertainment and room are all included in the price. Find a ski package that includes accommodations and equipment rental. There are jazz, rock and funk festivals all around the US especially during the summer season. Single ladies galore! Women admire men who are well traveled. But it's not just about the ladies, there are museums, famous restaurants and attractions, sporting events to check out too and people to meet. If you're thinking about traveling abroad you'll need a passport. It can take several months to get one, so apply as soon as you can. A travel agent or other experienced travelers can advise you on the best tourist attractions and safety insights for your overseas destination.

Do YOUR thing.

Here's one last little tip. Keep your travel plans to yourself. Oftentimes friends can exhibit a negative response and will attempt to block you or want to come along changing your plans, then your vacation becomes their vacation. Tell them all about it when you get back. Of course, advise parents or close loved ones of your travel plans, including destination, length of time you will be gone, and hotel phone numbers for emergency purposes. When you return to the home front, you'll have fond memories and feel real good about yourself. And that girl you met can't wait to visit you in the not too distant future.
