For Those Who Love Jon and Kate Plus Eight

Coley S.
The Learning Channel's reality television show, Jon and Kate plus Eight, is widely popular. This reality show portrays the day to day life of the Gosslen Family. Parents Jon and Kate Gosslen are busy raising two sets of multiples. After fertility treatments, twins Cars and Madelyn (nicknamed Mady) were born in 2000. When Jon and Kate decided they wanted just one more child they were blessed (and surprised!) with six. Hannah, Joel, Aaden, Alexis, Collin, and Leah were born in 2004.

America seems to have an obsession with Jon and Kate plus Eight. Some people love it and some people hate it but regardless, people are watching their show, talking, and blogging about it. Some people adore the family and the show while others are not fans but instead criticize Kate for her controlling ways and Jon for taking it all.

For those of you who are Jon and Kate plus Eight fans you can now get more of them through some of their other products! Seasons one and two of their reality show are now on DVD.

The Gosslen's have also written a book titled Multiple Blessings that will be available in the fall. The book, written with the help of Beth Carson, chronicles their story as they have struggled and survived raising two sets of multiples so close in age.

Whether they love them or hate them, many Americans can't seem to get enough of Jon, Kate, and their brood!

It is very hard raising a family no matter how many children you have.I know that Jon and Kate can work out their problems. But they need to just get away with each other to talk and no MEDIA!! Those beautiful babies need you both. 2 wrongs don't make a right. So please forgive each other and start a new. I love your shove. God Bless! Keep the faith.

I so love to watch the Gosselin family. They are real and we see it, those of us that have families know how tough it is to raise children in this world much less eight, all of the same age!
I would love to meet them - I am sick and may not see my children grow up grow up. As Jon and Kate do, I take one day at a time and let God lead the way.

I love this family as if they were my own. I would love the opportunity to babysit if they ever visit Ohio.

This is my favorite show. I think they are a very loving family. And if anyone of us had to take care of that many kids all day you wouldn't be at your best either. John is a great dad and husband too. And Kate works very hard caring for her family. The kids are so cute and well mannered.I babysit my 18month old grandson and he is a good baby but at the end of the day I'm ready for bed. Rising kids is a lot of work and I think John & Kate are doing a great job. And if you don't like the show watch something else. Hope your show keeps on going Gosselins.

I am a fan of the show but Kate you do get on my nerves! You are such a "snot" to your husband. I can't believe he takes all of that off of you. You just need to be more respectful when you talk. I understand that you are probably very tired most of the time but come on treat him with a little kindness. Just a little advice! Take it or leave it! I do Love all your precious children they are very fun to watch!

I Love these people and this show is one of my favorites. I dont understand how anyone could not like it. These people are geunuine and as real as it gets. They were offered an opportunity to document their lives and they took it. I Love how unconditional they are with the love the give their kids. Especially with Maddy...she is their problem child and they are going to love her through it. I had no mother and i love watching how nurturing Kate is....she may be a controlling, nagging, up tight lil gal, but she is so filled with love. Jon is her balancing partner, he is the Yin to her Yang.....they are perfect for each other. I love how these kids are going to grow up. Loving, kind, tolerant and intelligent. THese kids are so well mannered and it didnt take beatings and threats....it was love and patience.
Please never take this show off the air. I want to watch these kids grow up and go to college and get married and have kids of their own. One day i am going to meet the Gosselins, it

I think the show should NOT be taken off the air. I'm hooked!
I do enjoy watching the kids, and the situations that come along. This show reminds me of when my girls were young. And how I love being a Mom. I look at the Gosselins and see how lucky they are to have them, and wishing I can turn back the clock to when my girls were small. Now there all grown and starting their own familys. I have one Granddaughter, and enjoying every moment I can with her.
I think there is alot of love in the Gosselin family. You can see that in the way the kids treat each other. Yes there are times when they are hitting and screaming. But there are also times they are hugging, kissing and comforting each other. To me it seems to be a balance there. I have read alot of the comments posted. I do agree at times Kate is yelling at Jon, and its an embarrassment for him..
This is when Kate should have time out, step back and see how it hurts him. Yes having a family is stressful whether its one or its ei
