For Tony

Poem

Kady Birdwhistle
This is a little shout-out for a guy, He's so much bigger than a French fry, Let's boycott McDonald's and fly
His name is Tony and he's a bit shy, Until you know his name, he says oh my, you won't catch him on the sly
He dances and never says goodbye, He's a Buddah and that's no lie, Just don't steal his piece of pie
He rocks on and on and on, I guess you could call it the break of dawn, He'll groom your flowers and your lawn
The little poet rarely writes, just yawns, When it is his turn he eats some prawns, It's a little ditty he swings and fawns
Over a jealous bunch that's beyond, His understanding of life just goes on, He's the master, the mafia would say DON
He watchestv and then he is gone, to a book he smiles but not if the ending is wrong, no laugh there and it is no song
Tony speaks and believes he belongs, in my guitar sally's little songs, Flogging Molly can't sing like me or play Mahjong

The kid loves his bed, He's a little sleepy head, Always blue not red, Loving the well-read, Literature is what he says, Lightning is the best

I copied Coffee Mugg Ken's form to write this for Tony!
