All of the materials that I am going to list below can be found at your local Wal-Mart. The helium balloons can be purchased from the Wal-Mart floral department.
Materials:
- Helium inflated balloons
- Curly ribbon
- Cellophane wrap
- Bite-size candies, preferably chocolate Kisses
- Scissors
- Greeting card
- Hole puncher
Instructions:
1. First, grab the cellophane wrap and cut a square piece about 18 inches on all four sides with the scissors. Make sure to go as straight as possible to keep the edges from looking ugly.
2. Place all the candies that you bought in the center of the cellophane wrap square that you cut. If you didn't purchase a lot of candy, cut your cellophane wrap into a smaller square.
3. Bring together two opposite corners first, then do the other two and hold them together; it will need to be tied up.
4. Have a piece of curly ribbon to tie the cellophane candy bag together. Make sure to leave enough ribbon so that you can curl its ends.
5. Attach curly ribbon to the helium inflated balloons if they didn't already come with it. Make sure to leave a little bit hanging on the top with each balloon.
6. Grab the scissors and use one side of the blade to run it against the piece of ribbon at the top with the balloons. This will make it curl in a very nice way. Do the same thing for the left over ribbon on the candy bag.
7. Now that you have the balloons and the candy bag finished, tie the balloons up with the candy gram. Make sure to not tie the balloons so that they are more than 3 feet from the candy bag. If you have ribbon left at the end, curl it or cut off a piece of it if it's too much.
8. The greeting card will be hole punched on one corner, then tied up with the candy and balloon gram with curly ribbon as well. Make sure to write a small note or just sign the greeting card to let your loved one even more love.
Now you have your candy and balloon gram finished. Make sure to hand deliver it yourself to your sweetheart or have someone that you trust deliver it to her. Women love receiving gifts while at work or in school so if possible arrange for delivery during those times.
