Former Cub Ted Lilly Reduces Price on Wrigleyville Home
Neighborhood: Wrigleyville
Chicago, IL 60613
United States of America
The five-bedroom home of former Chicago Cubs pitcher Ted Lilly has now been reduced to $2.1 million from a previous selling price of $2.4 million. The Wrigleyville home boasts 5,400 square feet and is constructed from brick and limestone. Lilly's residence was built in 2006 and this corner home has 4 1/2 baths, six bedrooms, a wine cellar, a large gourmet kitchen, a wide limestone constructed center entrance, an attached two and a half car heated garage and two roof decks. In addition, this magnificent home has a beautiful private rear yard.

Lilly, who was traded by the Chicago Cubs in July 2010 to the Los Angeles Dodgers paid $2.15 million to buy house in the early part of 2007, which looks like he might have to take a loss when he does sell the home.

Lilly put his home up for sale in September of 2010, but did not put it on the Multiple Listing Service until recently. Ted Lilly is married and has one child.
