Former Muslim Raises Concerns About the Muslim Background of Presidential Candidate Barack Obama
The Former Muslim Notes the Illinois Senator Had a Muslim Father and Stepfather
Former Muslim Brigitte Gabriel said she has concerns about Senator Obama being raised by a Muslim stepfather and attending a Muslim school as a child.
Senator Obama, however, denounced reports on the Insight Magazine website that he was educated at a "madrassa," which is reportedly a radical Muslim school, in Indonesia. He lived in the country with his stepfather from 1967 to 1971. Senator Obama has said the school was not a madrassa, but a secular institution, open to those of all faiths.
Brigitte Gabriel, however, has said that regardless of that issue, the presidential candidate did have significant Muslim influences in his background. Gabriel, who founded and is president of the American Congress for Truth, said that fact makes her "uncomfortable."
She noted that Senator Obama's actual father was a Muslim, who later became a Christian after leaving the senator's mother. She noted that his mother then married another Muslim.
The former Muslim said she is uncomfortable with Muslims being elected to office in the United States. She said if that happens, the message to those in other countries is that America can be defeated, and Islam is winning in the United States. For that reason, Brigitte Gabriel said Muslims throughout the world rejoiced that the first American Muslim, Democrat Keith Ellison, was recently elected to Congress. She said some of those who rejoiced were shouting, "Allah Akbar," which hijackers also shouted when they crashed planes into the World Trade Center in 2001.
On the presidential campaign website of Senator Obama, the senator noted that he attends a Church of Christ. He also noted that he was once a community organizer with a Christian church-based group that was seeking to improve living conditions in poor neighborhoods that had high crime.
According to the website of Insight Magazine, www.insight.com, the reports of the Muslim heritage of Senator Obama and whether or not he attended a Muslim school, actually came from the camp of his rival and Presidential Candidate United States Senator Hillary Clinton. According to the website, Senator Obama's background was actually uncovered by researchers for Senator Clinton.
The website mentions that in two autobiographies, Senator Obama mentions, but does not elaborate on a Muslim background. In the autobiographies, Senator Obama characterizes himself as a Christian, although he says his upbringing was mostly secular. Obama said that although his father was a Muslim, he was in practice, an atheist.

In fact, she was never a Muslim. Brigitte Gabriel is actually a Lebanese Christian born into a Christian family. Of course, the fine journalistic standards of this article miss that in lieu of publishing more useless bigoted garbage. And btw "Mike White," "Allah Akbar" is said by all Muslims, meaning "God is great."
Timothy McVeigh wrote "Praise Jesus" in his nonsensical rambling notes found by the media. Pastors also say "Praise Jesus." I guess this means that Christian pastors have terrorist sympathies, right?

Oh, so wait, you have recordings of what went on inside the aircraft? You should probably let the Department of Homeland Security know. Of course you wouldn't make something that grandiose up since you are making a factual claim about the events of 9/11 for payment on a commercial webite where everyone can see it.
This is especially curious to me because the Arabic phrase is "Allahu Akbar," not "Allah Akbar." "Allahu Akbar" means "Allah is great," where "Allah Akbar" would just mean "God great." You apparently not only then have factual proof of what went on inside the cockpits of the airplanes on 9/11, but also factual proof that the speakers knew only broken Arabic.
And of course you wouldn't bullshit something like that where EVERYONE can see it...

Sorry, Obama, but my experience is that if you give a Muslim an inch, they'll take a mile, so just as the Indianapolis Muslim cabbies' unreasonable demands got the finger from their boss, I'm not willing to give any Muslim or Muslim-raised/trained/whatever my vote to become the most influenial figure in the world. My vote will be for the former mayor of New York City who experienced the hell first hand because America slept, as I doubt he would want to see 9/11 repeated.
I whole-heartedly agree with Gabriel's concerns. But I would like to make a correction to Mr. White's claim that Ms. Gabriel was a "former Muslim". If Mr. White had read her book, "Because They Hate", he would undoubtedly recall that she was never a Muslim. She is Arabic, born and raised as a Christian in Lebanon. Her family was forced into hiding in a bomb shelter for 8 years when Palestinian Muslims entered Lebanon in the 70's and started killing and terrorizing Christians and "infidels" in that country. That's what you call "religious persecution". As an American, I do not want to see that happen here, to my aethiest friends, Jewish friends, or Christian family members. That's why I'm heeding Gabriel's message and keeping MY eyes wide-open, unlike Europe which has been asleep while Islamist take over their continent.
