Former San Diego Charger, Ladainian Tomlinson Becomes a Free Agent

Speculations on Who LT Will Sign with in the NFL

What does the future of his NFL career hold for Ladainian Tomlinson? He's been with the Bolts for nine years until his recent release. It came as an unsuspected surprise to some, but others felt like his release was overdue. Now that Tomlinson has been released as a free agent by the Chargers, where will he sign to?

Because of his outstanding history of running the ball and his rushing yard stats, the Bears may be looking to sign the all pro running back. Even though most of his touchdown runs were at a short distance, he still rushing over 700 yards on just over 200 carries. Tomlinson may have just what the Bears need to take them to the end zone. The Bears may need Tomlinson, and it isn't ruled out, however skepticism says that it is highly unlikely.

Desperately seeking anything, the dandy Lions need someone to come and rescue them! Could Tomlinson be traded for a Lion and help Detroit? Jim Schwartz is considering doing anything to help his team, so Tomlinson may find himself hanging his hat in the Motor City, when it's all said and done.

With the help of a good buddy from back in da day, former Bolt all pro may find himself down in swamp land with Super Bowl champs, the New Orleans Saints and their all star Quarterback Drew Brees. Brees says that he would love for Tomlinson to join the team. According to some reports, the Saints may be making Mike Bell a free agent, allowing Tomlinson an open door into Saint - hood. We shall see.

Some people keep hooting and hollering about LT joining the Texans, when apparently they want nothing to do with him. Actually I am glad because Texass don't deserve him anyway. Yeah, we shall see how they do next season. Probably same oh same oh... Go Colts!

After the competition last year to see who was the best RB in the NFL, (Tomlinson or Peterson) could one imagine LT joining the Vikings and taking a backseat to his competitor? Who knows this may be a good thing, however it could also be catastrophic for LT. Okay so they are worried about his age and performance? Apparently after you turn 30 in the NFL, you begin to age into the point of no return. I mean the man is barely 30 but what about Favre? Okay never mind.

There is other speculation on who Ladainian could help, such as the Colts. Of course with the best of the best of quarter backs, such as Peyton Manning, Tomlinson wouldn't have to run the ball too much, so Indy may be a good place for number 21. We shall see here shortly.
