Former 'Wonder Years' Star Jason Hervey Unleashes 'Celebrity Sex Tales'

Like several child stars before him, Jason Hervey from "The Wonder Years" has stepped behind the camera to become a driving force in the entertainment world. "My business partner Eric Bischoff and I have our production company, Bischoff-Hervey Entertainment . We have several shows that are in production which are about to hit the air," Hervey said during a one-on-one interview at Reality Rocks in Los Angeles.

Hervey was on-hand at the reality television convention to talk about "Celebrity Sex Tales," a new show that debuted on Playboy TV on May 7. Created and executive produced by Bischoff and Hervey, this show uses the premise that everyone, especially celebrities, have a story to tell about some sexual exploit. "I'm really excited about it. I think it's going to be a fun, different and entertaining show," Hervey said.

"Celebrity Sex Tales" is part of Playboy TV's new "TV for 2" initiative, which is designed to bring couples closer together. The show features such reality television stars as Adrianne Curry ("My Fair Brady" "America's Next Top Model") and Corey Feldman ("The Surreal Life") talking about their intimate moments in a relaxed setting. The tales are then recreated using some clever animated segments.

"On our show, Celebrity Sex Tales, there's no real nudity," Hervey said. "The only nudity comes from the animation. How do you do a show on Playboy TV that's entertaining without actual nudity? When you look at our animation, it's more humorous than explicit. It's not raunchy. It's not explicit. It's funny."

With the rebranding of Playboy TV with "TV for Two," Hervey said it's opened up the boundaries in a positive way, allowing him to challenge himself even more creatively. "You don't have some of the limitations you would have at other cable networks. There's more content because there aren't commercials plus you can push the boundaries with adult humor."

Bischoff-Hervey Entertainment also received a very positive reaction from celebrities who wanted to participate in the show. "There were some people that totally jumped at it, there were other people that wanted to sit on the sidelines," he said. "But I think some of those sideline folks will want to participate after they've seen it. We got a lot of good people to participate and, when they see the humor in it and the high production values, we are going to have even more people participate," he said.
