Hong Kong Express restaurant offers very tasty Chinese food, fast and at reasonable prices. The interior of the small restaurant allows for a few 4-person tables, though most people call in their order and pick it up to go. Still, the interior is clean and nicely decorated and the staff is very friendly. If you eat in the restaurant you won't have to wait long for your food as the cooking staff is fairly fast.
I have eaten at Hong Kong Express multiple times and have always enjoyed the meals. My favorite is the orange chicken, as it has just enough spice to make it interesting without burning your mouth. The fried rice and veggies are also much better than you might expect from a fast food Chinese restaurant.
Another food favorite at Hong Kong Express is the Lo-Mein which consists of soft noodles stir-fried with carrots, cabbage and onion in Lo-Mein sauce. The combo meals run in the price range of $5.99 to $8.99. You have your choice of chicken, beef, pork, shrimp or veggies to add for the combo. The prices can't be beat and the food is quite good! Each day they offer a "Family Meal" for 2 for $17.99. The meal includes 2 regular entrees, 2 soups, 2 egg rolls, 2 steamed or fried rice and 2 fortune cookies.
Another great thing about Hong Kong Express is that they have delivery available with a $15 minimum and only a $0.50 delivery charge. If you don't feel like leaving the house to get your Chinese food, just call Hong Kong Express at 972-552-3988 and place your delivery order. The delivery always comes with a few fortune cookies, soy sauce and any other sauces you might want. Usually they will tell you it's a 40 minute delivery time, butmost days you can expect your food within 20 minutes or so.
If you are having a business meeting or party in the Forney area, you should consider using the Hong Kong Express catering service. You are sure to be thanked once everyone has tasted the delicious food they provide. Hong Kong Express has been a most welcome addition to the Forney community!

Post a CommentWe order from here about once a week...usually for delivery. The delivery dude is awesome. Very nice. Loves our Lola (English Bulldog) who comes to the door to greet him.
Food is consistently fantastic, and always hot.
Owner is a Ford Mustang fan. Since we own several it makes it an even better experience.
