Forney,Texas: 4-T's Bar-B-Q & Catering is Bar-B-Q at It's Best

4-T's Bar-B-Q & Catering is a business that is both new and old to Forney, Texas. It's new because the owners, Mike and Cyndi Thomas recently opened up a weekend restaurant at 205 W. Broad Street Ste. C, across the street from Doe Belly's Catfish Café. It's old because 4-T's Bar-B-Q has been serving the Forney area through their food truck and catering business for years.

Cyndi Thomas says that their catering business has done very well over the years and that every weekend they were doing a lot of business at their food truck in Forney. The Thomas' decided it was time to take the plunge into restaurant life, though for now the restaurant is open only on Saturday's and Sunday's. Mike Thomas describes 4-T's Bar-B-Q restaurant as primarily a "to go" place. They do have seating for 18 people and the interior of 4-T's Bar-B-Q is lightly decorated in the theme of Texas pride.

I have used 4-T's Bar-B-Q & Catering to cater a party of 20 people and was very pleased with their timely delivery, reasonable cost and delicious bar-b-q! The food I had at the party was brisket, grilled chicken, Texas style baked beans, coleslaw and home style potato salad. They included a full loaf of bread with the meal and everyone raved at how good the bar-b-q was.

I have also ordered food to go at their new restaurant site on Broad St. and found the restaurant clean and inviting. When you pull up to 4-T's you will immediately notice the giant bar-b-q smoker outside and the Texas flag flying proudly. I recently ordered the pulled pork and smoked turkey breast and both were tender and tasty. I enjoyed the seasoned green beans and once again found the baked beans to be the best I've ever have. A plate of your favorite meat and two sides costs $8-9 and are worth every penny. 4-T's Bar-B-Q has recently added ribs as a Sunday special and they are quickly becoming a customer favorite!

Though the 4-T's Bar-B-Q & Catering business has been a favorite caterer for locals, their restaurant is a welcome and needed addition to Forney. Mr. Thomas said that they intend to start slow and grow the restaurant side of the business just like they did with their catering side. Eventually they hope to have the restaurant open more often than just on Saturday's and Sunday's.

I would highly recommend 4-T's Bar-B-Q for their excellent food and good customer service. If you are in Forney on a weekend, stop in to 4-T's, say hello to Mike and Cyndi and get your own taste of their delicious food.
