Holiday cheer is in full swing and it's almost time for the Fort Green Association (FGA) board members to start decorating Fowler Square .

The FGA will decorate and string lights around Civil War hero General Fowler's statue and the square on Saturday, November 20th at noon .

Decorating General Fowler can be quite a challenge, considering that the statue is on top of a very tall base. The organization could use some additional help sprucing up the triangle.

Residents are welcome to volunteer and Brooklyn Technical High School is even offering students community service hours for volunteering. The FGA is vital for the preservation and progress of a tight knit community. Visit www.historicfortgreene.org and to find out more and join.
