Fort Greene's Moe's Bar is Closing

The owners sent out a message to fans of the bar's Facebook page that said they will be closing their doors at the end of February 2011 message. In response, customers commented on how they are sad to see Moe's go. Some even suggested a fundraiser.
According to Gothamist, Moe's is shutting down due to a steep increase in rent. Moe's is located at 80 Lafayette Avenue between South Elliot Place and Portland Avenue.
