Forum Friends Offer Prayers

A couple of days ago, I posted about my condition in a forum. Here is what I wrote, and the following are overwhelming responses that made me cry.

It has been almost 3 weeks now that I have pain on and off because of my kidney stone. Please help me pray for my speedy recovery, if not for me, at least for the baby in my womb.

Ever since I got pregnant, I never took any medication, even for my migraine or flu.. because I don't want the baby to be exposed to the medicines. But now, the baby has been taking so many drugs already. I am 6 months pregnant now.

Anyway, please also help pray that the baby will be protected from harm from the pain and the drugs.

I will be giving birth in march 2009, hopefully as expected.

I am praying for you and your baby. That your body will pass this stone, that the baby will have no adverse reactions to the medications you are taking. I pray for your comfort and for you to do the things that are gtood for you. I pray that the water you drink will disolve that stone and wash all impurieties from your system. Please keep us informed as to how you and baby are doing.

I pray for your recovery and I pray for your baby, everything is going to be alright GOD is going to bring you through this, just hold on and know GOD is going to bring you through, I can't tell you how reading you discussion has really touched me, I don't like reading about people in pain, or going through a hard time.

Hi Spoiled,

I really feel for you, kidney stones are no fun, and can pass through if they are small enough. Are you currently being treated by your a doctor and were you put on fluids to attempt to flush them through your system? Cranberry juice, and water tends to work well in flushing UTI and Bladder infections because they make you urine more, allowing the infection to pass through the urinary tract. My prayers are with you for a very quick recovery and feel free to ask or write anytime.

Be strong for your baby! I don't usually pray for myself so whenever i pray for other people, God grants my prayer most of the time. I'll include you in my prayers so hopefully by March, you and your baby will be ok. Just do something that is healthy. Be positive too and stay away from stresses ok?

Please Father up there, let your child SPOILED311 and her child be healthy for as long as they both shall live. Especially let the BABY, YOUR BABY, be able to see this world with a happy smile, with no pain and worries. Let mother and child be A-okay.

So sorry to know that you are suffering from kidney stone and that you are six months on the way as well. I can just imagine how hard it is for you can't take much of medicines because of your situation.

You can count on me. I will pray for both of you. Hope you'll overcome the pain and that you'll recover in no time. Hope also that your baby is safe till such time that she/he will come out. Take care and be strong enough for both of you.

High there spoiled311, I do hope that everything well turn out well for you. I am sure that for as long as you have a positive outlook in life, all obstacles can be overcomed. There is no problem so high that each and everyone of us cannot tackle. What is important is our will and determination. For the sake of your baby, I believe you will do your best to keep happy. Mother's emotion is directly related to her physical health, and in turn the baby.

A couple of days back, in a discussion about being optimistic, I mentioned an picture so moving to me. In the picture was shown an expecting lady enjoying the sunshine, sitting close to the tent, her hands tenderly stroking over the belly. It was right after the earthquake, there is nothing but calm on her face. Hope you will be the same. Wish you all the best, and the baby.

You're certainly in my prayers as I write this, Hon! I've never had a kidney stone but I've heard they're more painful than giving birth so when you do have your baby it will probably feel like a walk in the park! I have faith everything will turn out fine for you and your baby. Just be strong and hang in there. Happy New Year - better days are coming! Bless you too.

You should not worry about the drugs you take,because the doctor will not give you any drugs that will harm your baby's health.You should believe in your Doctor.
