Forza Coffee Company Pays Tribute in Press Release: Donate Through Paypal
Donate to the Family of 4 Fallen Police Officers
The Seattle Times estimates a showing of 20,000 people at the officers funeral scheduled for tomorrow. 2,000 emergency vehicles, including the families motorcade and others from Lakewood Police Department will begin at McChord Air Force Base. Approximately 20,000 officers will be attending the funeral for the four fallen officers. All state agency flags will be lowered at half-staff. The funeral is said to begin about 1 p.m. at the Tacoma Dome and could last as long as 3 1/2 hours with roads surrounding the Tacoma Dome and along the procession route will be shut down temporarily.
All four Lakewood officers were wearing their bulletproof vests while enjoying a moment inside of Forza Coffee Shop. A man stepped up to the counter, look over, and began firing. To some this was described as a planned execution. To only a few it was a full random act of violence. The officers used deadly force, but it wasn't enough to stop the shooter. One officer then shielded the customers with his body.
The Parkland Forza Coffee Shop employees and Seattle citizens are still in shock that a gunman would open fire only at the officers and not at the customers or employees.
As Forza remembers the day that changed their lives, they also reflect upon the day that four families, nine children in all, have lost their loved ones. Forza Coffee Shop wants you to help, as they are doing the same.
"Focus on the last heroic act of our peacekeepers, who display their love for us, focus on the love for their families that an entire country is offering them. Focus on the love in the growing memorials and comfort of each other, and then we can show the world that God & love does exist in Pierce County and hate did not win that awful day."
- Brad Carpenter CEO Forza Coffee

Help the Families of the Fallen Officers
When will crime relieve us? When will life be calm?
When will all be trustworthy in the protectors very palm?
When we see they've fallen, it hurts our souls quite deep.
Because we have been the reason for them to live, for them to breathe.
When will we rejoice them? When it's just too late?
When will you see my vision? What is it going to take?
So help them now...now...help them now...now.
For it's the right thing to do, just let them show you how...
When will you help them for all they've ever done?
When will you thank them for protecting everyone?
When will you be giving to the ones that try to save?
When will you give back? Today can be the day...
It's for the children, it's for the families of each of them..
It's for the moments that they sheltered through their own defense..
So help them now...now....help them now...now.
For it's the right thing to do, just let them show you how...
So help them now...
Special thanks to Tony Vega for reminding me of what is important.
