Forza Motorsport 3 - Xbox 360 Game Review

Forza Motorsport 3 is a fantastic game for the Xbox 360. It is one of the best driving games I have ever played. I love it because it has over 400 customizable cars. You can drive everything from a Honda Odyssey to the new 2009 Bugatti Veyron.

Let's start with the gameplay. The controls are about the same as the controls for all other racing games on the Xbox 360. The right trigger is the gas, the left trigger is the brake, the steering is the left control stick. The controls are not what makes the gameplay for this game so good. What makes this game great is the assists. If you aren't exactly a professional driver, there are driving assists that will help you play the game and stay on track. As your skill develops, you can remove the assists. This means that beating the game isn't just winning the career mode. To beat the game honestly, you have to do so with no assists helping you. The assists range from a braking assist to automatically brake the car around tight corners. Another one is anti-lock brakes. That makes it so the car doesn't spin out if you hit a corner too hard. I suggest removing the braking assist before the anti-lock brakes.

Next let us move on to the graphics of Forza Motorsport 3. The graphics in this game are some nice ones. They are some of the nicest ones I have ever seen. Literally, if you were watching a race on television, the graphics on the Xbox 360 are clearer. This is nice, considering the amount of rain falling or the wind speed are not shown. These will matter a lot to how you drive. A high amount of wind and rain will make turning extremely difficult. The high quality graphics will make it so you can figure out the wind and rain just by looking at the screen.

In conclusion, Forza Motorsport 3 is the best racing game I have ever played. I love the high quality graphics, extensive assists, and amazing control of your car. I also love the vast selection of cars to choose from. I, after much consideration, give this game a perfect 10 out of 10 stars. It has a great gameplay, a nice multiplayer, and the career is difficult, yet much simpler than the one in Grand Turismo 4. This game is a definite buy. You won't be disappointed.
