In other pet news, a Facebook cause called Support TNR (trap-neuter-return) for feral cats will have their Fourth Annual Spayghetti & No Balls fundraiser on the same date.
"This is going to be a unique and playful event to support affordable spay and neuter surgeries to those who otherwise would not have access," says administrator Kathy Kwieran.

PetSmart Charities® is commemorating the first week of May which is National Be Kind to Animals Week by featuring a Spring Cash Giving Program.
"This is an easy way for PetSmart® cutomers to donate toward saving the lives of homeless pets," states a press release. "Customers will be able to donate to PetSmart Charities three easy ways at the register - when paying with debit or credit card, with cash, or with a check."
The event happens May 3 at 8 a.m. at all PetSmart® Stores.
In unrelated news, the Robeson County Animal Control Shelter in St. Pauls, NC has come under fire from activists recently who have been calling director Jeff Bass on the carpet for the facility's practice of heart sticking and gassing resident creatures.
A Facebook group called "Protest Robeson County Animal Control" was formed to stop the procedure and as a result staff say as of yesterday that they have halted their gassing and heartsticking practice after much media attention.
Friends of the Animals, a non-profit chaired by NASCAR driver Gregg Biffle and his wife Nicole, plan to build a 1.5-acre no-kill animal and education center which will include a spay and neuter clinic in the planned $800 million Langtree at the Lake community off I-77. It's at Exit 31 in south Iredell in North Carolina. (Source: thatsracin.com).
