Fountain of Youth Might Be in Brooke Greenberg

You did read the title correct! The fountain of youth might be in a child born in 1993 in Maryland. She has not aged since the age of 16 months. This is true & something you would probably only hear about on Ripley's Believe it or Not. Here are some facts about her life.

The Medicine & Health people have spent billions of dollars trying to discover how to stay young or look young. A sixteen year old from Reisterstown, Maryland might have found the secret! She hasn't aged since she was 6 months old. She appears to be a normal toddler except the fact she is 16 years old. She has all her baby teeth & only moves around by scooting on the floor. She cannot speak and has the brain capacity of a one year old. Even though Brooke's bones have only aged to about the age of twelve years old. If you seen her you would really think she was a small toddler.

This rare disease has only been labeled Syndrome X & there has been no discovery on why or how this has happen to Brooke. Her parents still care for her as she was a young toddler taken her to the store they tell her she is 16 months old instead of years. They have been doing that all along if she was 11 years old they would say 11 months & so forth. Brooke has had major health problems in the past including many strokes & a brain tumor that seemed to have disappeared. They do not know if she will continue to have medical problems in the near future or how long Brooke will even live to. She is supposedly the only person to ever have this disease in the whole world. She is definitely unique to everyone that gets to meet her.

She has a normal older sister that helps take care of her also. From what I can tell this family appears to be very strong willed & have god on their side to help them. She is a true miracle to us all & hopefully her disease will unlock the future of staying young. But for Brooke now she appears to be frozen in time as a 6 month old child.

The movie channel TLC will actually be airing Brooke August 10^th 9PM Est. Entitled Frozen In Time. You should definitely take the time and listen to Brooke's story it fascinates the mind knowing she might be the key to unlock the Fountain of Youth inside all of us.
