Four Christmas Gifts for the Cast of "Ice Road Truckers", Including Lisa Kelly and Alex Debogorski

I imagine holiday shopping for some of my favorite reality television stars, so here's four Christmas gifts for the cast of "Ice Road Truckers" that I'd try to get for the likes of Lisa Kelly and Alex Debogorski. Christmas is the time for giving, at least of some pleasant thoughts and wishes. Some of the following gifts include stocking stuffers and ones that would fit nicely under the tree.

Four Christmas gifts for the cast of "Ice Road Truckers" no. one: A Louisville Slugger for Lisa Kelly

Lisa Kelly is quite simply the most polarizing figure on this program and "IRT: Deadliest Roads" because of her good looks. Many men drivers don't believe she belongs on the road, but as has been shown on episodes where she's driving in India, she knows how to draw the crowds of men because it's rare to see women truck drivers in India, especially American women. She can't expect to have other male cast members of the show watching her back 24/7, so it never hurts to have a good ol' Louisville Slugger baseball bat for protection, especially when she ventures into foreign lands where men are more prone to act less civilized towards women.

Four Christmas gifts for the cast of "Ice Road Truckers" no. two: "How to Win Friends and Influence People" for Hugh "The Polar Bear" Rowland

This driver is definitely one of the driving forces of the hit History Channel program, but at times, his abrasiveness and self-centered actions are a real turn off. No one is too old to change, and "The Polar Bear" needs to temper his hard-driving, outspoken personality with a little more sensitivity and friendliness. The classic best-selling self-help book by Dale Carnegie would be a great starting point for him. He could listen to the book-on-tape version while driving down the 'ol ice roads.

Four Christmas gifts for the cast of "Ice Road Truckers" no. three: A waffle maker and waffle mix for Jack Jesse

During Season Four of the program, this dependable and super capable driver sometimes delayed going out on runs with other drivers just so he could have something like waffles for breakfast, which made him seem, on some occasions, more concerned about feeding his face than teaming up for special loads. If Jesse had a waffle maker and waffle mix in his truck, he could have them anytime he wanted, and wouldn't be in any danger of not catching up to the other truck drivers for special loads.

Four Christmas gifts for the cast of "Ice Road Truckers" no. four: A trip to The Holy Land for Alex Debogorski

As the most openly religious of the crew and a devout Catholic, this man doesn't come across as being as swayed over by the cares of the world as with the other drivers. Religion has played an important role in balancing his life. Nonetheless, this man of faith deserves a special gift of being able to go to the birthplace of St. Christopher, the patron saint of truckers, which was reportedly Canaan (which includes modern day Israel). Because Debogorski is responsible for taking care of a big family, I would gather that he doesn't get to travel for enrichment and relaxation as much as he'd like to.
