Mom's Sunday Brunch At Home
Skip the expensive brunches and opt for breakfast at home. Sunday brunch is extra special when you make a breakfast or brunch at home. Not only will you impress your mom with your culinary skills, but you'll also include some very special members of the family. Your dog and cat will enjoy snacking on cooked scrambled eggs as much as your mom. Try making food that both your family and your pets will enjoy. Some ideas include scrambled eggs, sliced bananas, waffles or pancakes (minus the syrup for pets), and cooked or raw vegetables without the salt and butter. Keep the portions small for pets so that you don't cause digestive upsets or diet imbalances.
Mother's Day Gifts
Sure, mom likes chocolate, flowers and other trinkets, but don't forget that your pets should give her a gift, too. Try giving her gifts from your dog or cat that can help her remember her pets that much more. Lovely photos of her favorite fur-kid in a frame, pet toys, leashes, or even jewelry with her favorite dog or cat breed will brighten her day. Who knows? Maybe Rover will get away sneaking up on the couch just this once.
Mother's Day Walk
After such a yummy brunch, your mom may want to get some fresh air. What better way than enjoy the family by going for a walk? Look for a state park or trail that allows pets on leash and enjoy a fun walk with the family. If it's raining, try a quick game of fetch indoors or maybe a biscuit scavenger hunt.
Adopt a Mother's Day Buddy
Can Mom have too much love? If Mom has been thinking about getting another pet, try having your current cat or dog "suggest" it to her with a present and a photograph of the candidate. Maybe she'd love to bring home just the right pet for Mother's Day. You'll be saving a life and bringing home another bundle of love.

She is planning on spending Mother's Day surrounded by her fur-kids, who will no doubt help her cook for her mom-in-law. Her chickens will definitely provide the eggs.
